Super sized trucks headed for Yarraville

From 1 November 2016 VicRoads is banning ‘super sized’ B double trucks from the West Gate Bridge, apparently it can no longer take the weight.Instead these massive trucks are going to be allowed to use Francis Street and Williamstown Road, Yarraville to get to the Port. Western Distributor Reference Design released

The State Government has announced its intention to build the long tunnel design option for the Western Distributor.On and off ramps will connect to the West Gate Freeway in Yarraville and Spotswood but the final design will not contain any flyovers and will be built as close as possible to the existing West Gate Freeway.
